Our very bodies are His temples. Our bodies are gifts to be cared for, treated well, and used honorably. When we harm ourselves, neglect our bodies, or indulge in bodily sins, we grieve Jesus, who lives within us.
Glorious Father, thank You for creating me in Your image; body, soul, and spirit. Thank You for making my heart Your home. Please teach me to use my body to honor You. Give me the wisdom to care for Your home by balancing food, exercise, and rest. And help me to resist the dangers of sexual immorality and recklessness, so that my actions may honor You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
